The 2020 LASC Online may accept team registrations from universities, high-schools, startups, and enthusiasts. There are two challenges:
- 2020 LASC Rocket Challenge; and
- 2020 LASC Satellite Challenge.
The categories available for the 2020 LASC Rocket Challenge to register are:
- Entry-level: 0.5 km AGL apogee with a chemical rocket propulsion system;
- 1 km AGL apogee with solid rocket propulsion system;
- 1 km AGL apogee with hybrid or liquid rocket propulsion system;
- 3 km AGL apogee with solid rocket propulsion system; and
- 3 km AGL apogee with hybrid or liquid rocket propulsion system.
The categories available for the 2020 LASC Satellite Challenge to register are:
- Entry-level: PocketQube-style or CanSat-style satellite project;
- Intermediate-level: 1U CubeSat-style satellite project; and
- Advanced-level: 3U CubeSat-style satellite project.
